Tiny Trees Art & Stories

Join our tiniest of Nature Niños as we explore nature at Shady Lakes in the North Valley of Albuquerque.

Our Tiny Tree's Story & Art Program is designed for kids ages 4-8 years old.

Arrival time at Shady Lakes will be 9:15.

Each class is from 9:30-11:30 each Thursday.

Our schedules will be as follows (with tons of flexibility and opportunity for child-centered and emergent experiences- after all- this is all about THEM):

9:30 Morning Activity & Story Time

9:45-10:30 Deep Dive Into the Weekly Topic

10:30-11:15 Art Exploration

11:15- 11:30 Group Games

11:30 Depart Shady Lakes

Our Tiny Trees program was launched to serve the smallest of our niños in New Mexico, ages 4- 8 years old. This is not a drop off program (parents/guardians are required to stay on site), however we do encourage parents to bring a book, project or phones calls you need to get caught up on as you'll have free time to explore Shady Lakes on your own or find a quiet corner to enjoy some time to yourself!

Programming topics are subject to change throughout the semester due to our partners availability. Questions: email sarah@nmwildlife.org
